The mask/copper layer is exhibiting popcorn blistering following reflow. With profiling we know that the assembly does not see anything close to 250 C, rather around 238 C.

Air Academy Associates has a nice SPC package that has the PFMEA calculations built in to it. It also does Cp/Cpk/regression analysis, MSA, et al.You can combine it with a reaally user friendly DOE software for about $250. Both use Excel. Brian

According to your low/mid volume production. I suggest you to use the Fuji XP 143, XP 243 or QP 341E with MTU. The cost of new totally less than 250k.

How are your experiences with stencilling 0201 components on large circuit boards, i.e. 400 * 250 mm ? Will there not be too much mismatch between between stencil and (FR4) boards? If so, would dispensing be a solution? Any other solutions?

These are usually 260C for 5 seconds, however, this is only the top end of the graph. Ask your supplier for the recommended profile for this part and check that you are inside the curve for the whole process. We are going through around 250K of the

250-260ish seems a little on the high side ? Depending on the board density and components 230-245 should suffice. Again time above is usually preferred between 30-90secs but again it really depends on the PCB Dave
