CEMCO Uk have done testing using SACX0307, SAC305 and Sn/Cu/Ni. The copper dissolution tests (report available) conducted at CEMCO showed that the lowest copper erosion rate was achieved by SACX0307. Regards Gerry

After have so much discussion about this solder dross reduction, which way is the best to achieve good solder quality with low cost investment? Would it be add additive or recycling the dross or use N2 during wave soldering process??

We reduce 50% on that pad and achieve excellent results as well. Have placed somewhere in the hundreds of thousands of these (one board we have has 75 alone!!!) We do nothing special for other pads. Russ

We get both leaded components and lead free ( MIX OF COMPONENTS) components . In order to achieve good soldering results, please provide generic profile for reflow and wave soldering .

HOW did you change the temp? Stay that course till you achieve the temp you need. Try slowing the conveyor as well.

Sounds like you did not achieve reflow at all, what max temp did you hit in oven? Russ
