Electronics Forum | Tue Nov 25 08:15:48 EST 2003 | cyber_wolf

The clutches are brand new and oil free. As I stated above we run newer components as a general rule. I see this happening across different date codes, and different manufacturers. I have tried routing the overlay tape like the diagram on the feeder,

I know it's a dumb question but have you tried swapping feeders or getting them all checked? (Possibly not indexing accurately). I only suggest this as the CP's are turret, and have to take the component where it is presented, with no adjustment,

We have tried the vision both ways. Leads/body. Same issue. FYI Ken : The parts were not hitting the feeder pan on the back of the machine. I know this sounds really weird, but it seems that when we generate a program from Flexa(as opposed to FujiC

If you're using tooling pins, you may check to see that they do not have wear on the sides from boards repeatedly rubbing against them. I have seen this problem several times, you may give it a look. If you're not using them, I'd suggest that you gi

I personally use CP43 and QP341 and thats it. We are a small house so much isnt needed besides this. I have placed from 0402 and larger in the CP and basic IC and QFP in the QPs. I have been drooling over the NXT machines. http://www.fujiamerica.co

I was wondering if anyone is using the Macro program that came with flexa. If so, how are you using this because I feel maybe it could be used more on my end. I use a CP43 and QP341 so NXT and AIM users any feedback would be for other users to see if

I have never heard of this being done. The limitation is the camera. Also, I am not aware of anyone making CP4 nozzles for 0201's. If you want a Fuji that will do 0201's get a CP642 and upgrade the camera, or buy a CP643.(643's are set up for 0201's

SMT Research has offered to sell us 0.4mm nozzles for tests. Even if the camera worked with the nozzles and parts (which I doubt) I don't think the CP4 has the x-y accuracy to place 0201s well. We'll see, they are ordering the nozzles, test parts and

Usually they can be fixed. The clamping brakes get flat spots worn on them.(Replace them) The table frame itself can get grooves worn in it as well. In that case you will need to get creative..a new frame could get pricey. I am not saying that this
