| Could someone shares their experience on the causes of 'Open' in the BGA after reflow. | | You must have been in the same meeting I was in earlier today. We are currently having some opens on BGAs. The problem joints are all on the perimeter of

I agree, I'd try placing them with the midas or z-fi head depending what you have. Try using the mechanical centering in the zero angle with a low strength to move it straight. You'll probably have better luck finding a tool that will work on the hea

Im sure this has been gone over before, but what the heck! We are mounting LEDs on metal core PCBs. Almost all of them have domes of silicone on top. We have some large boards (largest is 2ft x 3") Not concerned with parts/hour or fancy features.

Some of our boards have over 700 LED's, so looking for the long leads is the most accurate way to check polarity. Also, not all LED's have a flat side and tinted domes can make it difficult to see the internal structure. Auto insertion didn't work, f

Hello! I have a strage problem, we made some production with uBGA, BGA, 0201, 0805, and other type of component. We didn't put the uBGA and 0201 and BGA on the board at the end of the line we look a our solder joint and surprise the solder made a
