Try to measure the profile again by datasheet..with the result that you will reduce the temperature in the areas below...increase the upper temperatures as needed according to the properly measured profile...I hope you can solve the problem like this

I agree with ProcEng1 that using a capped PVC pipe filled with flux is a good way to keep flux stones from drying out while in storage

Hi ProcEng1, I have no clue what removable hard drive adapter you mean. I have 2.5" SSD hard drive connected directly to PC board by regular Sata cable.

ProcEng1 made a super important point. The packaging needs to be able to survive the temps needed to reflow the paste. There are a number of jobs we have that we either hand or selective solder the connectors after the surface mount is done for that
