I think the main cause of this condition is #3 because both #1 and #2 never change from board to board, these are identical boards with identical BGA revisions. These BGA's (as stated before) are about 3 years old.. I don't believe they are lead free

We run 2 lines: Line 1 has a Dek 265, GL5, CP43, QP242E, and Heller 1900W; Line 2 has an Ekra X4, GL541, CP643E, QP242E, and BTU VIP98N oven. Soon both lines will have new Ekra X5 screen printers and the BTU replaced with another Heller. Works for us

Rob, I think the change over on the Quad QSP2 is about as easy and fast as it can get without swapping out the feeder bases. In a high mix environment I think it is worth looking at. Regards,

Is cost an issue? I evaluated Siemens Siplace about a year ago and the price per placement was twice what Phillips Machinery has to offer. We too are a high mix/low PCb count shop. Also, Siemens has many hidden costs and the references I talked to
