| I recieved a pack of sensitive IC's that said they needed to be baked befor certain processes. If I need to do rework, do I have to bake prior to single soldering of these IC's. Or can I just place one as needed by hand with out baking? Any info

From what you are saying................If I hear ya correctly - There is no "Proctective" on the Pads (OSP, HASL....) You will be hard pressed soldering to bare copper. This can not be right. My suggestion- go polyimide with electroptical connecti

Have any of you ever gone from using Nitrogen in your Reflow and Wave solder process to using only compressed air? No Clean users only please. I'd like to get away from Nitrogen if it makes sense.

Dave Thanks for the input. The thermocouple read 244 on the pad of the socket. We actually found after extensive investigation that it is the coplanarity of the leads. We were shipped a bad batch of sockets form the manufacture. Go figure!!1
