We agree with Doug. These parts appear to have poor solderability. It looks like during reflow the parts are sitting on top of the molten solder and the fans are blowing them off the pad.

Its mainly on the heavy hitters when the head is sitting over the feeder (Gold) and doing some multiple picks. Again this only seems to happen near the end of a reel. If we splice the reel is it picks perfectly directly after the splice.

This probably goes without saying but in order to utilize the feeder carts you must have enough feeders to have a job running on the machine, and a job loaded and sitting on the feeder carts. Also the IQ system can only talk to IQ feeders.
