Looks like you'll need to reset the controller. That will require turning the Run/Halt swith to Halt and back to Run. That should put an @ prompt on the screen. There is a list of inputs you continue through to reinitiate, but I have forgotten the

Make sure you have DC ok light on, on the EMI/PS card slot one. If not check your DC voltages at the card...5,15+,15-,12 v dc. if your voltages are not there then the machine will not run.

try "halt" your EMI and check if the @ appear on screan. If yes, type G or P to re-start the system. If NO, make sure 5VDC is present. V2 controller really a tricky one.

if you have not turned the halt switch down then back up you can sometimes get a restart using 0(zero)G and enter. If that does not work you will have to load the exec.

Yes, it OK to mount axial PTH component as radial PTH, if that's what you're asking. * There are no rules for orientation. Pick something and stick to it. We like to be able to read the component value / orientation from the top towards the board.
