Electronics Forum | Mon Jan 29 10:12:09 EST 2007 | geb

Hi, I am wondering how often people have their GSM (1994 edition) pick and place machines calibrated. We have had ours installed for about 18 months now. It has not been calibrated since its installation. Head 2 has been picking components off centr

Quadalign is very similar to the Samsung. I would think that 4% dump on 1206 or even IC is way over the top. If you are certain that your component data is correct; I suspect that your z-axis centring height may be out of whack and that you are eith

Thanks Dave... To all that took offence I do apologise, its a fine line that i'm walking here. Accelerated life testing is an integral part of todays development and manufacturing environment. I've spent 3 years living with 50% of my time in a desi

Hi, I have just taken a look at the Connector Images. Is there a difference in pitch between both connectors ? From the photo it looks like the Annular Rings are oversized on Image #1 especially around the centre area ( this might be the image ).

Are you having any process problems with Package On Package Assembly? If so why not spend a few hours with the POP Team at SMTA International? You have a great opportunity to see, hear and experience POP in October. However if you really can't join

Don't know if you can do it on a MyData, but I have found that I lower the rate of failed pickups on our machine by altering the placement order of devices. Specifically insisting it does not attempt to pick sequential parts from the same lane. Of co

QFN DROP DURING 2ND TIME REFLOW SOLDERING

Electronics Forum | Mon Mar 11 06:49:42 EDT 2019 | SMTA-Bob

You problem will be related to the part type or the design. Standard 40 or 100 pin QFN or LGA parts are not going to drop due to weight as they are just a few grams. If you send a photo of the PCB pad footprint and the component separately I may be a
