I'm hoping to use 0201 caps and resistors in a new design but so far have only found one company who makes such small devices (Murato). Can anyone direct me to any other supplier? Are there any particular problems associated with using such small

Hi Mark, This problem can be overcome by adjusting the camera brightness - Gain & Offset. I think the offset value is very high. Try reducing it.

That also allows a channel for degassing and also breaks up paste into sections that tend to balance the forces acting on the part. So basically window paning is even better than you might think.

I would look at the pad to part ratio.Over sized pad geometry will give the component more room to move. I have also seen where the two pads that make up chip components are not symetrical nor complimentary. The pads should be equal in the X or Y dire

hi, i am proccess eng solder wave process.I have problem with a PCB.There have ceramic SMD capacitor, SMD thermistor and SMD inductor 1uH.After reflow all is OK, but after SW these components are broken???The pin is separated from the body???the que

We solved similar problems some time ago. Check the volume dispensed or printed. Also check that the glue or solder paste has not expired and if in doubt use a new cartridge or change supplier. Ensure the Z axis stroke and placement force is corre

Melf components are tube shaped so the X and Z values are the same. If you use 3D X-ray you can tell if the joint is attached to the board properly and you will not need the Z-dimension information. This might be a better longterm solution than usi

We are trying to solder a Surface mount relay having lead free finish on the leads. The leads are not getting soldered down during the reflow. The leads also look oxidized (failed our solderability test) but we don't have an option but to use these r
