| I am looking into replacing another business division's Acrylic coating process with our Urethane coating process. Unfortunately, MIL-I-46068 doesn't differentiate AR/UR's performance, and the MFR data sheets don't match up at all (they each spec

Tape test to check adhesion and multiple point thickness test - each board has 5 points per side documented for thickness testing & we measure pre & post coating thickness with an electronic meter. Also temp & humidty are also logged, and alarms go o

Parylene Coating

Parylene coating is done in vacuum curing chambers. This process drives the material under components and into all nooks and crannies. There is nowhere on the board assembly that can escape from the material! I've only seen Parylene coating process u

Conformal Coating Discoloration

Hi Cecil, We using conformal coating in our manufacturing area, we did use to use Humiseal, others have been Bectron and Peters. We recentalt switched all lacquering to Peters, since it is lead free and it is a lot friendly than Humiseal. To answer
