I have two machines - Emerald-X and Topaz-X. I cleaned (and changed Koganei electromagnets) only in Topaz-X - Emerald-X is in very good condition :) But my Emerald-X have SF (not FNC) heads. If head 1 is OK - change the relays with head 2 and check.

I know this post is getting a bit old, but the Juki KE-2060 can do 0201 up to 74mm square (or up to 150mm long connectors) on their standard machine. You only need to purchase the 0201 nozzle and feeder. The machine is factory set to run 0201. And

The program reads the Altium PCB directly and does some preprocessing, like centreing DPAK's etc. The ordering of components can be sorted by Designator. Top, bottom, SMT only components can be selected. There are 2 variation on VIOS :- JH_YM100_VIOS

put the tubed parts on the side of the machine that is desired and then when optomizing in the condition portion set it to "feeders move within table" simply setting it to feeders move will result in the parts moving from front to rear and visa versa

I would highly recommend Assembleon OpalXII/TopazXII for your low volume high mix applications. You could perform changeovers very quickly. Of course it depends on how many feeders are required per product. If you buy for example, 2 OpalXII machines

Hi Reckless, If it's a Standard Phillips Sapphire then no, they are not a beginner machine. The feeders have to be spot on and the machine requires a much longer service as they have 2 sets of 12 heads. Spares will start becoming harder to get soon
