Looking for "carrier" for Reflow

Electronics Forum | Mon Oct 02 11:52:22 EDT 2023 | proceng1

We have these thin and flexible sheets of fiberglass that we sometimes use to send boards through reflow that can't ride the edge hold fingers. We've had these sheets for a decade at least and have no idea what they are or where they were purchased

Re: Is Amistar programming user friendly ???

Electronics Forum | Thu Nov 19 11:15:13 EST 1998 | Stefan Witte

Hi Martin, I found the Amistar very easy to program and operate, but I recommend using a PC link ( PROCOMM )for data up and download. Despite the age of the machine, Amistar was extremly helpful in telephone support. We purchased some additional man

Dream SMT Line

It surprises me that most of our friends have forgotten to keep updated with the latest equipment available these days! For a dream line with a "blank check" why not consider factors like speed, flexibility, changeovers, ease of operation, ease of pr

Can anyone give me suggestions on tape used for masking. Of course, I am looking for the "perfect tape" that sticks well, is flexible, offers lubricity for rubbing the tape, does not leave adhesive, easily removed for demasking, and won't leacvh any

Entry level selective soldering

Electronics Forum | Wed Jul 07 16:15:54 EDT 2021 | bobpan

Selective soldering justification

Electronics Forum | Mon May 09 15:56:25 EDT 2005 | dougm

We are a high mix/low volume shop (avg. lot size is about 60). Hand solder was a bottleneck, so we looked into selective machines. We purchased a Vitronics-Soltec mySelective and are very happy with it so far. Although it has a large footprint, ev
