This was not a automatic feature of the 4796 series HSPs. You can try to continue to reset-start the feeder crg after each component missing event,and slowly build the remaining placements, but at some point you will reach a dead end. My best advice

To clarify on "Opportunities"- With 1000 components, the opportunities are far greater than 1000. You have 1 opportunity per component for a component defect i.e. bent lead, damaged part, tested bad, etc. You have a second opportunity per component

1) We have been using the replacement tips regularly. We, also, purchased a precision pin gauge that we are using to clear the C14 nozzle without risk of stripping it out. 2) Right. However I've pinned the 0402 centering level down at -25um.

Your missing the point. The placement machine is the primary issue. Does this toy even say it can handle that component? If you have the ability try slowing the machine down when it is placing that component. Slow X, Y, and Theta axis. Jerry
