A good pad design along with a capable placement machine should handle this easily. 16mil pitch components need placement accuracy to about .002" so this shouldn't be a big problem to achieve. This placement tolerance is also basically the same as

Good afternoon, http://www.panasonic-industrial.com/ Panasonic still supports their old models. Drop them an e-mail and they will answer your question. What Cpk do you need to know? Placement accuracy I suppose. Placement accuracy depends strongly

On any new project we use double sided tape and place all the components to check for placement accuracy and polarity prior to pasting a board. We salvage any large/high dollar parts and toss the passives.

Is it good practice to use a PCB mechanical drill hole as local fiducial? Would it increase my placement accuracy? Or should I stick to my panel fiducials? We're using a panel with 4 boards and we're trying to reach a 50 microns accuracy.

I agree with Grant, I posted a reply to your other thread as well so wont go into detail on machines but if quality matters, go with a tier one supplier. Even Fuji is dropping thier prices. We picked Universal, I cant believe the difference in pick r

Hello TQS, We have made Micro Mechanics adapters for Mydata. The Micro Mechanics tips are used in die bonding machines. I have no doubt that an adapted nozzle would hold your die securely. From Grants posts in the past, he had problems with placement

John- Although we don't produce "production simulation" software what we do produce will help you achieve better yields and throughput. Our software monitors the placement accuracy on Fuji placement equipment. "Optimization" and "production simula
