Yesterday, my Quad IVc was on, but not running. There was a power fluctuation. I immediately got a motor err #5. I checked all the doors were closed, tried to home / reset the machine, and then turned it off and back on. Neither breaker was trip

Depends on what you mean by full speed. We run them Full Speed on our Quad IIC, and IVC. But those aren't as fast as newer machines. I assume there is a speed at which the vacuum just won't be able to hold on anymore.

I got the camera nozzle offset corrected but after the machine runs for a while the offset will drift and its out the specs I set it to. Any help is appreciated.

It sounds to me like your using only the Global fiducial mode. If your running multiple images on one panel use image fiducials instead

My Quad IVc's will also do the same thing. Mine are equipped with CyberOptics scanners, not QuadAlign. The Cyberoptics scanners do go bad and once they do, they get very warm to the touch and at the same time, if the Quad is reset, the theta axis wil

bobpan, It only happens with this program. CC ver 7.54, IVC V 3.05 If i leave CC out of it, and edit the sequence using the HHT, it sticks. but if i download from the assembler to CC, it's messed up. if i then fix it in CC, the minute i save

I cheated on the escapement length for the SOLIC plate and got through Feeder Optimization and Generate Program without any errors. Some progress, but no I cant figure out how to the the generated program into the central controllers on the Quad IVc

Yes, it looks like it would involve quite a bit... I guess it partly depends on finding the hardware/firmware, possibly from a donor machine. But it might not be worth the cost. At the moment I'm running all product on the first machine with Quada
