Bob should answer this but yes there is a diiference, I wonder if you do not need to add the SN100(cu???) to get your alloy correct again, I believe that additional copper must be added on a scheduled basis. Russ

Without understanding machine loading, we'd guess that your current "every 30 wave solder day" sampling schedule is fairly conservative. Consider approaches to better understand change in the analysis results.

The solder problems that were created caused overcompensation. Plus our PM schedules could be monthly, could be yearly depending on the maintenance crew for a particular line.

Long lead times was a slight exaggeration we wait approx 3 days for a stencil, although we can purchase them next day at a much higher cost. But when you are working to tight prdcution schedules this can prove costly.

I would contact Vitrox and ask them how they verify repeatability. They might be able to do it during your scheduled PM's.

I would wait. Scrap the bare boards you have and order fresh boards to arrive when the late component is scheduled to arrive and run as normal. Unless the bare board is exceptionally expensive this is the cheapest and safest route to take. Jerry
