Happy Holidays to all! Has anyone seen or heard of an automatic cleaner for squeegee blades and holders? I searched the archives and found nothing! I simply don't want to tie up the stencil cleaners with squeegees! thanks, Kris

Squeegee replacement

Electronics Forum | Fri Feb 01 13:38:23 EST 2008 | cyber_wolf

When it quits printing correctly.... replace it. No, it is not after a certain number of squeegee strokes. The only way that could possibly be calculated is if your squeegee blade parameters never varied.

The slower the squeegee speed the more tendency for "drag out" Raise the print speed and pressure. Rule of thumb 1.5 to 2 LBS squeegee pressure per inch of blade to start. OR try 2 passes with the squeegee.

Re: SQUEEGEE ANGLE

| WHAT IS THE BEST ANGLE FOR THE SQUEEGEE BLADE TO BE ANGLED AT? WE ARE USING 45 DEGREE ON OUR POLYURETHANE BLADES, AND I BELIVE WE HAVE THE OPTION OF EITHER 45 OR 60 DEGREES ON OUR METAL BLADES. WHICH OF THE TWO IS BETTER, OR SHOULD WE BE USING AN

Squeegee side-deflector

Squeegee angles

Electronics Forum | Tue Mar 14 09:54:34 EST 2006 | slthomas

"45* is a common angle of attack. Squeegee blades are commonly manufactured at 60*. The combination of the angle of attack and the blade angle results in an actual printing angle between the two due to down pressure and flex of the blade." Ahhhh, so

Recovery of Expired Solder Paste !!! + Squeegee Lifetime

Electronics Forum | Tue Jul 16 21:35:48 EDT 2002 | davef

Reworking used paste. We do not rework or reuse used paste, because we have no experience reformulating paste or controlling the process. Squeegee life. We do not use squeegees with damaged blades. After that, if we can fixture them and get good
