What I have seen too is that these parts normally come in a tube and from moving in the tube some of the copper starts to expose and solder will not adhere to these parts. Let me know if anyone else sees the same problem.

Hi Grant, You forgot Charlatan, or my particular favourite: twat. Tube feeders also encourage operator error, where tubes being changed over all of the time can be put in upside down.

Watch out for the tube and camera. Tubes are over $20K and cameras can go over $15K. There are no reputable service suppliers for these. If you want a good refurbished machine with warranty call Rework,Inc. 760-458-0733. Gary

Well that is completly unacceptable for me and im sure 99% of mfgrs. I have seen people use extruded aluminum tubes. They any good? Know anyone who sells em? Thanks

We've got away with 90C before, however at 120C they tend to bananna and it isn't easy to remove all of the product then, and some of the legs get damaged (we always received waffle packs then one day tubes arrived & the operator baked as usual....).
