Hey all, we will be starting to coat our PCB's soon. I am looking for info on what type of UV light is needed to inspect the boards. We will be using Humiseal 1B73 Acrylic coating. TIA, JD

Some UV cure coatings do not have the correct rheology for sticking to small sharp corners. 984 is one of them. MicroCoat Technologies, Allen, TX makes one that works every time.

A customer of mine is using Chemtronics (Circuit Works) CW3300 Overcoat pen. This is an acrylic conformal coating. It cures at Room temperature. They need something similar that can be UV cured in a pen form. Any suggestions?

Steve, We use that Circuit Works pen as well! You can purchase a UV cure then download it to an opaque syringe or bottle. Use a small EFD or similar luer lock tip and dispense where needed. Tom

I've had some that under normal light they looked the same but when the UV light hit them they were very different.

Hi Hoss67, I have had really good luck with PVA (Precision Valve and Automation) as Dave had mentioned also. Good pricing on all types of systems and good design crew for special applications. They also provide UV curing systems if needed. Hope it
