I've seen something like that on our CP5. The problem was the nut retaining the leadscrew to the bearing (motor side) that became too tight due to an error from the operator.

I had a similar problem once. It turned out to be sprocket bearings. The sprocket was so hard to turn, the chain would stop a couple times per shift.

Hi, We have refurbished blowers. Cleaned them, changed bearings, capacitor. These parts are standard parts, you will find them in "any" hardware store and Radio Shack type dealers.

Not sure if this has any bearing on the problem but did you check to see that T2 and T3 are jumped on the speed control board per the first note in the prodedure?

Check bands Check friction Ceck that the bearing spindles that ride on the little rods arent bent. The custom centering jaws would be suspect Past that there is not a whole lota testing to do.

We used to do this, but we dont any more. Never found something with the Mole. We have had 2 blowers come to a halt due to stuck bearings, but that was easely spotted without a check. (Temperature alarm and Huge whining noise)

so as long as the machine is a III series weather 66 or 84 you are thinking the electronics and possibly bearing may be the same?

I would switch to Teka PC104 solder bearing lead connectors. You can reflow them along with your SMT and eliminate hand soldering. I've had a lot of experience with them and they work great. http://www.tekais.com/pc104.asp Steve

This socket supplier never expected you to do what you're doing to his/her part. Some materials bear-up under the thermal strain of reflow solder than others. Try different socket materials.

There is no service manual for TM8's. I assume you adjusted the teddy bear face ? Hoffe, das hilft
