Depends on what you're kind of thru-hole you're placing. Cutting, forming and placing TO-220s are a lot different than VCD components. Can't just slap any ol' name out der!

Not quite sure what your problem is by your explanation but if you are seeing component shifting with no real trend , I would be confident that it will be down to the Clamping of the board. Make sure the adjustable rail is secure and not moving sligh

SAC coated leads on certain components require more dwell time. If you find that you have top-side wetting issues, slow the conveyor down a bit or increase your wave height, or, a combination of the 2.
