We're a contract manufacturer, so we are at the mercy of our customers sometimes. We strongly encourage fiducials on the board instead of the rails, but sometimes the customer doesn't want to spend the time or money to do it.

I second the Mydata call. We too are using them for Contract manufacturing and find the changeover to be extremely fast. My $.02
