Steve: Two things: 1 Chrys "The Thermo Princess" Shea wrote a great thread on attaching thermocouples that's in the SMTnet archives 2 Dymax (and probably others) makes a uV cureable thermal adhesive that's not a ugly to use as soldering thermal coup

George: Interesting. I've found a couple of sources for antistatic Acetal. OK. To the point: I don't know, but I plan to talk to slective wave solder fixture fabricators. Several are listed in the archives Good luck

I intend to evaluate a Wave Rider in our process in the next couple of weeks. I don't think I would appreciate the continual maintenence of the device. Does anyone have any experience with the Optimizer product? Does it have similar issues? Thank

Try Graphicode's web site. They have a couple of products that can do what you want. http://www.graphicode.com The only other one that comes to mind is Valor but, it's not quite as popular.

Question on Reflow Profile Development

We use a universal recipe for 90% of our products. But, I had to develop a temperature profile for each PCB to know that I was getting the correct temperature at the PCB. You may need to work a weekend or a couple of late nights to get the data. Go

Multitronics machines, in their lastest incarnation, previously were Dynapert machines. A largely UK phenomenon. It's unclear that Multitromics made much US market penitration since their acquistion of Dynapert a couple of years ago.

Is your firmware version 1.95? In the pd section, do you have the field "auto offset" enabled? Just a couple of things to look at.
