I have used the Quick ? from I don't remember what company. But it was a smallish machine ie about the size of a washing machine. The heat/cool cycle was about 30 to 45 minutes. every thing had to be properly sealed or you would loose vapour, this va

Have you got a circuit diagram for your driver board? If not measure your driver into a resistive load and look for differences in current flow voltage drops under load dried out caps. Dead current measuring circuits etc. If you see an IC, look it up

Low static Kapton dots are available from Shercon (www.shercon.com) and through many distributors like com-kyl. Purpose specific dots are available from Circuit Technology Center as TD-250 Tape Dots. (www.circuittechcenter.com). Consider also The Pr

Product concerned: Sdram memory. Due to the net resistor size and shape (0603, the lead of this component is very close to some vial hole. What is the minimum clearance we must have between a component lead and a pad or via ? For the pcb design th

The courtyard around a 0603 resistor should be: * 0.008" along the short edge of the component / pad * 0.036" along the long edge of the component / pad As you say, the component courtyard should be larger than the spacing between features, becaus

Yes,thermal conductivity does decrease since all metal oxides are insulators to varying degrees, and this should be considered in trermal analyses. It is best to protect the copper against oxidation, however.Again,I suggest you include this question in

Fluxes that have been properly heat activated are insulative (non-reactive) during operation in the field and during environmental testing. If you are also performing a cleaning operation, the possibility of growing dendrites is so remote that it can

I am looking for information regarding post wave soldering of stranded wires into a circuit board using OA core wire solder. We do a final pass thru the cleaner after the hand soldering but I'm concerned about any OA flux residue that may have wicke

I use a .059" copper clad sheet of FR4 that I bought from one of our board houses. It has not started to delaminate yet, and it has been through our ovens several hundred times. I am not sure what the life expectancy of a thermo-couple is. I am not 1

Cant see where poly would be any more ESD friendly than nylon. Explain that please. Consider: * Attaching tags with metal wire that has no insulation. * Contacting a factory sales rep that specializes in ESD protection and carries a large numb
