MPM up500 smema issue

Yeah, it's set to use SMEMA for down line. I have the conveyor conected to downline fmi on up500 (right side of machine,) but the Upline Ready light is activated on the up500 when the conveyor is ready and not the downline like I would expect to see.

Oh I forgot...is this product wave soldered? Opens can occur if your wave preheat and dwell are not controlled. I ran into this years ago....wild situation. Good luck

Mydaya Camera issue

Thanks dude. There was a broken wire in the big cable. You couldn't tell at a glance, but a very slight tug popped it out. I have it rewired and up and running now. Thanks again.

AP20 Printer issue

I am trying to find out if the AP20 MPM Printer is SMEMA ready or was it an Add-on, I can not find any documentation in the manual as to where the Smema is to be connected.Or does the diagrams show any smema hook ups. Any help would be appreciated.

Good post WML! you helped a lot!, Chunks brings up good point. Are there vias that can be shorted by this component being slightly misaligned? When reworking there could be residual solder or even flux that has shorted the pads or component, etc.

Perhaps a PhD should be able to recognize the difference between a typographical error and a spelling error. Even WE can see that one.
