We are running an upgraded, refurbished MyData TP9 machine in our high mix, low volume production. With those improvements it does okay on the 0402s. The TP platform is no longer in production but they are still providing good support for machines

The recommended feeder for 0402s and especially 0201s is the green feeder with a 3.7mm spec. We use greens for 0402/0201, white for 0603, yellow for 0805s, and reds for tantalums. They work well, but sometimes you seem to get difficult tape. I hav

MyData machines are probably your best choice for low volume/high mix applications. Change over times can be minimal when you are loading your extra magazines/feeders for the next job while the previous job is running on the machine. Component plac

I would say not very reliable. The component separator spring, pick point adjustment, and magazine have to be perfect. Your nozzles have to be perfect etc..etc... My general advice is move to a different platform if possible. I have worked extensive

Steve, We run Mydata's with CircuitCam, so we do not have the "problem" of having to seperate one build into two programs. We just use more magazines/feeders on the machine. But I can imagine your situation. I think to get around this is that you wo
