I couldn't be more pleased with Panasonic. We've upgraded from MPAV's and MSR's to CM602/DT401 and now their NPM platform. NPM's are extremely fast and accurate. Their auto pickup position teach is great especially if you're running any 0402 2mm pit

I've dealt with MyData, Assembleon, Fuji, and Juki over the last 9 years with the majority being MyData and Juki so I'll talk about them. MyData was very nice for high mix/low volume due to the ease of setup and smart feeders, but I felt like I was

tuckered pony I'm riding. Nearly two years off from the biz, and the place I landed is the place I sold a bunch of used equipment to while at my last job. It's deja vu all over again. Anyway, I'm a little more active with the placement equipment he

0402 imperial? all those machines should be able to handle that. Even an old Quad 4C can place those. As others have said, availability of parts in your area will be the issue.

Does anyone else encounter problems using feeders to handle caps that are reeled up with paper tape. We are having alot of problems with vendors that are now using the thicker type (like cardboard) to use to reel up caps. Our feeders either run too

I am looking at buying a pick and place machine to assemble the circuit boards we make. Most of the boards are small (2 to 10 square inches), most are 2 sided, and have maybe 20-50 parts per side. I use mostly 0805/0603 chips, SOT-23, SOD-123, SOIC
