Hi Folks, Does anyone out there know the names of the manufacturers of batch style vapor phase reflow systems. I'm not interested in anything in-line. I'm looking for relatively small footprint systems. I've come across Wenesco and Sintronex. Doe

We have recently started up a vapor phase machine and no body can tell me what an ideal profile should look like. I preheat the board about 10 degrees lower than the melting point of the solder paste. The joints look great! Just have no documentation

When faced with high mass, high cost, sensitive PCBs and now with the added challenges of Pb-Free Vapor Phase is the only safe reflow method for component and joint integrity. A-Tek is the National Distributor for Asscon Vapor phase reflow. Asscon

We are also using Vapor phase for our process. We currently have 6 profiles that we have established. 3 for Leaded and 3 for Leadfree. We have set-up our profiles depending on the mass of the board. We do have some tombstoning depending on several va

Vapor phase or vapor degreasing cleaning for electronics is simple technology that holds merit on process situations like you described. Easy and quick to set up and process with today's modern equipment you can be up and running in no time once the

| I would appreciate hearing views on vapour phase soldering particularly in respect to BGA's. | I know that they used to use CFC's but apparently this is no longer the case? | Can anyone help with some info? | Thanks, Alan Brewin Alan, Unfortunately

Pete, We have 2 Vapor Phase ovens and use a profiler from Data Pak that has a sleeve that seals out the Vapor for these ovens. This is pretty much the only system that we have found for these kinds of ovens. Contact them and they will hook you up.Tha

We evaluated Vapor Phase Reflow in 2010, and in the short time I experienced the machine, I came away with the following. The advantages you are (hopefully)already aware of, such as overall tranfer of heat to the PCB, no chance of temperature oversh

Hi, How has it worked for you with small parts such as 0402, and are you using these size parts, and getting any tomb-stoning problems? We used lead paster with our vapor phase, while lead free should have less surface tension, so I have always won
