We are using AIM WS300 solder paste and are experiencing excessive voiding on our BGAs. We have exhausted reflow profile alternatives and just can't beat the voids. Has anyone had success with this paste on BGAs? If so how?

That's weird. I send samples to be analyze for free to AIM...A few years ago, we used Kester solder bars and they did the analysis for free as well... Thanks, George

Try 270WR flux from AIM solder. It showed very good results on our wave solder process. Let me know yours... Thanks, George

Over the years I have gotten the best support from Aim and Alpha and the least support from Kester. If you can, you might want to switch to a solder supplier that gives good support.
