Igmar: Chrys and JAX make good points. I'd like to add that you should be careful that you don't starve larger chip components of solder when using a 4 thou stencil.

DEK 265 opinions needed please

I would like to here some opinions from the industry on the DEK 265 models. All feed back positive or negative would be welcome. Main concerns are the Vortex and Proflow options are they worth the cost, or do they just add complications and extensive

Hi Steve, I had face problem before. What I did, add addition process which is screen print that apply adhesive. During thru-hole assemble, the components hold strong by the solder. Try this.

Trace cuts

Our customer has requested that we cut traces and add fly wires alot. What we use now is an exacto knife and a soldering iron to take off the trace. This works but does not look good and is not very efficient. Does anybody know of a tool to cut trace
