Quad 3c/4c Z-Rod Precautions

Electronics Forum | Wed Sep 20 16:24:19 EDT 2006 | bobpan

Larry, I would suggest not changing mod-codes on a machine that you dont know very well and that should solve the damaged z-rod problem. What you should do is get someone into your company to train you on the basic's of operating the machine. The $22

DEK pro-flow

Electronics Forum | Fri Feb 16 09:16:19 EST 2007 | John S.

We conducted a DOE to establish our print setup parameters. These will of course depend on the paste you select, and the thing just runs. The techs store the head in a ziplock bag when not in use. When they need to run, they just attach the head,

MPM AP25 Squeege Pressure not Set

Electronics Forum | Wed Sep 19 04:14:55 EDT 2007 | simmcircuits

Hi, Please help on this problem with an MPM AP25 screen printer. Everytime we print the error Squeegee Pressure Not Set is prompted. Although we can still print by clicking on Next, it beats the purpose of having an automatic printing machine. Can s

If we're comparing a TP9 or a MY9 to anything FUJI, I think the IP3 has it beat by a long shot. You can get a used IP3 with an MTU for under 35k. The only downside is that you require a programming interface with Fuji and it's built into the MyData.

Stencil Printing: Single pass vs. Double pass

Electronics Forum | Thu Dec 20 10:15:09 EST 2007 | slthomas

Wow, Chunks, condescension becomes you. Not. I think that in this forum when someone mentions *stencil* printing and doesn't specify what material, we tend to gravitate towards a scenario that involves printing solder paste first, then adhesive. If

I can tell you from current experience that the Sony and Assembleon machines are bullet proof. I just placed 0201's on the Sony G200 and ran it at wide open throttle and it didn't skip a beat. You have to keep in mind that the speed ratings that the

Rain-X is a "hydrophobic silicone polymer" according to Wikipedia. Silicone is not something I want around a soldering operation without a chemist I trust telling me it's OK. Having it work a few times without any obvious problems wouldn't be evide

NEED FUJI MANUALS

Electronics Forum | Fri Sep 14 01:48:37 EDT 2012 | dman97

Does anyone have a Fuji CP7 maintenance manual and a Fuji CP feeder calibration manual that they would like to share? We recently got a CP7 machine that is a little bit beat up and need to do some preventive maintenance to it. This machine is not as

AOI false calls with 3D AOI

Electronics Forum | Wed May 18 13:11:08 EDT 2016 | skyler0121

SMT, I currently work with both 2D and 3D AOI machines. 3D does give you the added benefit of Height on components which does help cut down on some of the over rejects. However, it does still have trouble with some of the same things as the 2D system

SMT LINE CHOICE

I know this isn't a choice from what I'm reading, but we use to kill LED boards with an old Panasonic MSR. Our newer CM-602 and NPM could not beat the speed when you're talking about a max of 3 different part numbers; depending on binning. My .02 .
