While you're waiting, consider giving your paste manufacturer a call. They should have a database of recommended, or starting point profiles based on what oven you have. cheers, ..rob

Microsoft Access will allow you to manipulate the databases. make sure you have a back up copy of your libraries before you manipulate.

We use Access database. Works well but you have to custom build everything you want to track as it's not specifically designed for electronics mfg. You need someone in house who's good with that stuff.

For packages, you use packages names.There is only one SOIC8. The other 8-lead devices are there and it is your job to learn their names. For components descision should be made based you your whole(part number)system.

hi, what have you already done to resolve this? is this MC library a file you can locate? if yes, try replacing it with backup. corrupted databases and libraries can cause such failures.
