| | Hi All, | | Any one experince BGA-chipset warp about 10-15mil after removing | | from PCB? | | FYI, the rework temperature for preheat was 170C from room | | temperature about 30 seconds, & BGA was removed at temperature | | between 190-200C.

I have waved gold (ENIG) boards. That's a pretty hot pot at 260C, wow. I have used 245C with good results. All other parameters look OK a glance. Well, PCB temp looks a little hot too at 130C before pot. 90-100C is typical for most No-Clean flux. At

You can try putting titanium stiffeners on the PCB to prevent it from warping. How thick is your stencil? More paste would give you a wider window however too much and you risk bridging. You could try over printing the pad at the heel and toe to get

hello all, Im experiencing problems with "warped" boards after first reflow, some of them i just cant print side two due to this problem,,is it related only to reflow? im using a linear profile (225 peak / 70s time above) with a tin lead paste,t

Hi there, I have quite a number of problematic bd due to warpage problem. I would like to know the method on how to measure PCB warpage, thus to decide on the dispositon of these boards. Another question, can these warp bd be rework/fix. Is there

We are going to try out a PCB manufacturer that has an Alpha Level for ensuring a flat finish on the PCB's. I am interested to know if anyone has and experiences, either good or bad on how boards treated with this process are to assemble. Is there a

Hi, No, the layout is different, but both have chips located arallel and perpendicularly to the flow direction. And we do have defects in both orientation. What about the PCB warpage? Sometimes we find warped PCBs. Could this affect? Thanks, Yu.

We had a product a couple of years ago that did the very same thing, we increased the amount of webbing to reduce the amount of warping.

Hi We are experiencing serious problem with ceramic capacitors. They are with low electrical resistence and the problem is intermittent. We found some of them with micro cracks but not all. What could be the causes for this problem? We are su
