PCB board preperation

Electronics Forum | Fri Nov 07 03:46:09 EST 2014 | philc

Just wondering why you need to scuff the surface at all, as a decent glue should take to the PCB material anyway. However, it may be a customer requirement, so you have to do it. Have you thought about getting the PCB's made with a rough surface wh

I would like informnation regarding this high heat withstanding type material for PCB, also any other types that are compatible. We currently use FR4 but have an application that may require most advanced composition.

Re: Breaking scored boards, breaking components.

We have recently purchased equipment that would probably solve your problem. We are using 1.6mm pcb material 1/3 of which is left unscored. When the pcb is de-panelized there is no damage to any components and we have cut our break time in half.

Solder in via holes causing printing problems

Electronics Forum | Thu Jan 06 09:03:57 EST 2005 | russ

Hello folks, we would in certain cases run a PCB second time through reflow. I never trusted a board that is reflowed multiple times and I wonder am I really right? Can we reflow boards multiple times? What are the limits? Does it depend on the PCB
