Sounds to me like the z-encoder could be a problem. I cant remember but you may be able to disable a head in the system settings. Bob

Hi Kathy i had the same issue yesterday and find that a spring is not ok. and i also clean the sensors this was fixing the problem for me.

So just to update and close this thread, it was the ZFIB board ( the one mounted on top of the theta motor) that was causing the theta motor to error out) Problem fixed. $ 30 dls or so from MYDATA. Hope this helps some one down the road.

you can not just take the motor off and change it. the motors have a home pulse singnial. the motor has to be in a certian position the home pulse position when the flag hits the sensor. When you remove the motor you have to mark the motor gear when

you cannot swap 0-3 only 0-1 or 2-3 they are not the same euro cards. they function very diffrently. if you look you will see there are more chips and circuitry on one set. there are 2 w/red leds and 2 with green leds. at least thats how they soo
