Thanks for the info. I have installed Dos 6.22 and re-installed the SPM software. Now when I boot up I get an "invalid installation" error and the program terminates. Are there other setup issues I need to take care of.

Yes you can..... You have to be administrative mode. First set of menus on the screen after machine boots up. You can copy the file to a floppy disk which will convert it to ASCII format. You can then pull in up in word and alter however you want and

I would go into the system BIOS and see if everything looks good. Check out the boot sequence and make sure it recognizes the hard drive. If that is good you probably have a bad drive. It is a good idea to make a copy of your drive's in case of cr

Yea, boot device fail is just the hard drive dead most likely. Its looking for the system files and cannot find them. You can prob buy a replacement hard drive with the necessary files on it from the supplier if you have no backup...
