Squeegee error on a 248 is strictly that sensor (reed SW) on corresponding (Front / rear) squeegee cylinder is not seeing a change in state... Either a physical obstruction preventing cylinder from exending fully - OR- if it is extending fully, then

Could certainly be sensors; does table (attempt to?) move out upon machine initialization? Or could be bridge driver (on board) or motor. JOHN www.dekhead.com

Good news we fixed the unit. The air pressure for the RS was not off. made a small adjustment for the in and the out. unit working fine.

I guess you were able to locate the RS cylinder. Assuming adjustments to RS flow controls was your resolution.

We had the same problem and it was caused by faulty encoder, which we had to replace. - Dejan

Looks like it was the diode inside the encoder. Are getting a new printer instead. Did a short time fix, connected a power supply to the motor and controlled the speed that way.

The DEK248 we had at one time was pretty compact but it did not have automated alignment- just a semi-manual camera/monitor stencil alignment process.
