If its just the X axis then I would say that there is most likely something wrong with the ball screw. Does it only do it when the axis is moving fast ? Take the support plates out and check for anything out of the ordinary under there.

Hi, Perhaps you could call the guys at Soltec in Singapore, as we have dealt with them in the past, and they were very fast to help. Regards, Grant

Having problems with quad feeders with thick Embossed tape

Electronics Forum | Tue Feb 06 10:43:18 EST 2007 | James

Especially on capacitors, the tape is so thick that the motor starts to slow down and does not advance the parts fast enough or not at all. This happens on regular 8mm.

Hi all Everybody seems to be touting the fast changeover capabilities of the Mydata machines. What is it exactly that makes Mydatas so great in this (very important) area, above other brands? I am not attempting to play down the Mydata, I am just ge

Not a fan of bench top, as you have to load the component and the board into a fixture, then unload afterwards. We trialled with 3 linked ones for some complex boards which worked well, however it was not cheap, and not that fast. I'd look at sel
