What is the recommended prep for a through-hole glass pack diode? Should a stand-off be used or can it lay flat on surface of the pcb?

To make it simple: A Feeder protection plate is just a flat piece of metal that hangs over the feeders, inside the machine, and keeps the feeder cover from popping up and crashing the head.

What are the specs of a Formica type bench top? Gloss or mottled finish? Should the edge be straight, rolled or bull-nosed? Can I get it in ESD safe composition? Can you recommend a good calibrator of formica?

Does anyone have a calibaration pocedure for flat radiant panel preheaters used in wave solder. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Tom: Cheapest is grind flat spot on inspection mirror. Plastic mirror is easiest and works for the 1st 2 rows.

Does any one know where I can obtain firmare for an HTI-7 screen printer. The internal memory battery went flat. I replaced the battery but the firmware was lost.

Below 40 microinches = Bad Solderability With pitches getting smaller and smaller flatness becomes more of an issue, but it's not to be achieved by blowing ALL solder off the pads.
