Hi, I would appreciate some help here.. I am black residue with my wave soldering provess with my Electrovert machine sometimes, they are dotted all over the board ! I am also using no clean flux through an externel spry fluxer unit.. thanks Darren

Istvan, One possible reason for this is that you are using a water soluble flux in your wave solder machine. If you are and the boards are not pre heated long enough, the water in the flux does not evaporate before hitting the wave. When the water

Hi Manoel, I want to make sure I understand what you are talking about; reading the reply, along with your replys it almost sounds as if we are not talking about the same thing. In your picture I'm seeing a SMT diode correct? You are talking about th

We used fluxes: Cobar 94-QMB (no bismuth), RF800, Cobar94RXZ-M, with foam and spray fluxers: MBO clean alloy SN63PB37.experienced with changing preheatting, speed of covoyer single and double wave., we tried every combination. I think the problem is

if two boards with different solder masks give different results on flux residue level after soldering with the exact same machine settings than it is clear that one of the solder masks is not compatible with your no-clean flux. could be the solder m

We bought the lead free pots for the Ersa machine and change back and forth. We had a lot of problems running SAC305 in the Ersa. It seems to create a ton of dross and you need to frequently clean and flux the nozzles. I would really like some feed

Read Ralph Woodgates', "The Handbook of Machine Soldering." Ralph is a true lead-head from way back, and his expertise is Wave Soldering. I know later editions have sections on that new fangled technique, "Reflow Soldering", but Ralph does a very c

we have problem in setting the density of a no clean flux for using before wave soldering . first we dilute the flux but we have many short circuit problem between the pads of edge connector, then we densify the flux all the short circuit is removed b

We have tested SN100C for LF wave soldering process since August'05 and currently start production for a month ago. Initially we use SAC305, but due to the shrinkage cavities (micro-crack) we changeover to SN100C. In summary, SN100C did perform well
