ASM would be my top choice for any type of production. solid hardware, combined with very powerful software - you can really place everything with these machines. Juki is nice too. Very durable - good hardware. Software though is not so good.

Have to second Phil's assessment of Juki. Been running for over 10 years; rarely break; when they do service is quick. Maintenance costs are consistently 15% of our sister companies running Fuji.

Darby, I'm not completely sure I understand. Juki machines have what is referred to as a multi-head. The offsets between the heads are the same as the spacing between 8mm feeders. So the (6) heads all come down at once and "gang pick" from 6 8mm fee

Any major brand (Samsung, Juki, Panasonic, Fuji) will work, most important is what service and support you will get *after* you buy the new machine. Once the machine is set and run, the most annoying part is to have downtime waiting for support quest
