Let me rephrase my question. How do you avoid having errors in your SMT set up? IE xxx part goes in feeder slot 55. We currently have our quality department do a machine check but small errors like this can still go unnoticed.

That is no longer an error. I guess if your reels had IDs because you were running full traceability, they wouldn't be able to do that. But those options can get quite expensive.
