So are you saying that you cannot reach 110C at 1 location without raising another location to excessive preheat temp? If so, sometimes slowing down the conveyor and dropping the preheat temps will help you get equal temps. I do not know this machi

Billy, I think the most versatile kit out there is the RB-2000 system from Mini Micro Stencil. We have not run into a part yet that we could not reball, even ones with a raised encapsulated center. They even make custom screens that match the compo

Hi TMC, It's very unlikely that you'll get a temperature variation of 32 degrees by varying the top and bottom heaters - especially if it's forced air convection, as if it's a half decent system the hot air will be circulating in the zone, pretty qu

Had the very same thing happen the first time we used the small QFNs. The aperture for the thermal pad in the center needs to be cut in a grid form, either squares (with around a 10 mil spacing between openings) or circles, like a BGA pattern. Too mu

Every failure analysis study I've seen, (and quite a few by now) showes Pb Free failing in about half the time or cycles as Sn/Pb. HALT and HASS testing shows reality- run way from a Pb Free product other than a camcorder, etc...
