I was wondering what type of machine would be the best for high production rate of small pcb boards. A rate of somewhere near 800,000 units a month on a board that is approx 1"x2" 4layer with 20 components.

Is the flux rated for lead free? These higher temps will cause most lead rated fluxes to burn off prior to the wave. Jerry

Not quite correct Jon. Ovens will use roughly 1/2 their rated power consumption at temp. but will draw their rated max. power at startup.

I would also suggest looking at your ramp rate in the cure oven. We noticed that accelerated heating increased the "gas out" of the solvent. We run 1A33 and and do not exceed a .5/degC ramp rate.
