Hi Coop, Sounds like you are having top side wetting issues. Generally this is flux related, but with a foam fluxer, I'd kinda doubt it's the fluxer. Could be heat related as well. Try slowing the conveyor speed to verify. Long leads - hmmmmm.

Why would a board failure related problem be a process problem. I agree most companies believe EVERY problem is a Proces Problem, but in the real world we know this is not true. A pad lifting means your solder joint was able to rip it off the boa

If your "engineer reviewed the reflow profile and said this was not related to reflow conditions," then what does he think it's related to? We think that a increased effort to improve the thermal recipe to solder this part is required, because: * S

From your graph, we just don't see the the relationship between failures and relative humidity. Questions are: * What is the correlation between failures and RH? [We'd bet that the correlation between failures/RH and failures/temperature are 'similar

Sure Dave, with the amount of daily information going though our heads I would love to see spam filters working better. I am just debating of it is not better to be user/IP related rather than headline related. There are about 10-15 of them(some US
