I had similar problem before. I cleaned the PCs (both machine and station) and replaced the cooling paste on the CPU cooler. After time the Control was able to shut off - before the issue solved, we used the safety knob to cut the Control.

Thanks - This is exactly what it was. Separately I was isolating each of the safety circuits on the main board and that confirmed it was the top lid magnetic switch was faulty. It was the only one not shown as an input in the diagnostic page :(

At the same time ask for the technical data sheet and the Safety Data Sheet. You don't know what other auditors you may have to deal with in the future. And someone should have all the SDS's in a binder for all the chemicals that you use.

have you tried just cleaning connectors prior to IF board change? maybe it was just bad connection, that is main issue with machines in my experience.

I say this could be properly solved with your Vending machine supplier, I know a couple that are doing lottery ticket machines, so you can imagine the safety level
