Of course it is needless to say the performance of SACX0307 is worse than SAC305, and also to some other lead free solders,eg SN100C & SCS7.

Smt paste= SAC305 Wave Solder= SN100C no real problems with either of these. good luck

Thanks to all of you for the positve input, I understand that my best option, after reviewing opinions and certain studies, that SN100C is adequate for wave and SAC305 for SMT. Thanks again.

Rob Just wondering - have you made analysis of your solder alloy on a regular basis? We are using SAC305 but stainless steel parts (e.g. a nut or a washer) dissolve quite quickly.
