We have also had this problem. I have managed to get around this by selecting a teach video model and positioning the teach window to include half the pad on the left and half the pad on the right so that the center point is bang in the middle of the

We do have a convection oven and no one has messed with it. I am the only one who can change anything. I have it set at Medium right now on a conceptronics oven. Could this be too high? We have not had problems in the past with parts moving off o

Chris, 1. You may want to check lead finish (plating). 2. Is there shadowing? 3. Is Pik-n-Place providing enough pressure to slighlty push part into paste? 4. Is this a new product? or existing? If existing has suppliers for parts changed? 5. Is

We are doing what I believe is unique from everyone else. We are using a .010 thick flex circuit board populated with the usual components, sot-23, caps, resistors, etc. It is mountd to a carrier plate with the edges taped down but I am having troubl

Are the pick up nozzles metal made (ironmagnetic material)? Some time magnetic residual on metal nozzles can generate pbm like that when chips terminations have nickel and when SOt or similar packages have terminal A42 alloy made. Time ago got pbm l

hi guys the scenario is: when placing parts which required maximum speed, the cp6 sometimes missing resistors here and there, when checking part data, everything ok i notice that when the machine switching between high and low transport speed, (eg: r

Hi All the other components on the PCB solder just fine, including resistors, ceramic capacitors, inductors, SOT23 etc. etc. so I do not think that it is a PCB problem. It is clearly focussed on this single component. Haven't yet tried scraping or

It's a consignment kit and we already have the parts. Otherwise I'd tell them to panelize the thing and we could build all 30 in one pass. I may be able find a 25 mil QFP on a stencil and hand print that one part if the apertures are long enough. D

I am having issues with the SOT23 vision code. All of the numbers match what is in the book but when the camera looks at the part it centers on the bottom edge of the lead not the center of the lead. I beleive that there is a problem with the algorit

As Emil says, it's 100% the glue! Your paste is not designed to hold parts on at wave solder. Reflow is MUCH hotter than glue, so I doubt you're not adequately heat-curing it. Possibly, the glue cure is "too hot" and maybe making the material brit
